Federico is a social protection and resilience specialist. He has over 10 years’ experience working across the humanitarian-development divide with several international NGOs and consultancy firms as resilience coordinator, project manager and researcher in development and emergency contexts such as Afghanistan, Venezuela, Brazil, Somalia, Philippines and Cambodia among others. He has a BA in communication for development and two MAs in international cooperation and local development. In 2015 he joined FAO to work on the linkages between poverty reduction, agriculture, resilience and climate change policies. During the last 5 years in FAO is has been working in support to country level programming, development of research and academic papers, design and implementation of capacity development tools.

He will be available for a chat at the FAO virtual booth for the “Meet the Expert” session on 6 October Time zone 1, from 2pm GMT/9am SA-Rome time and Time zone 2, from 3pm GMT/10am SA-Rome time.
