Cecile Cherrier is an independent consultant and an ODI research associate working at the interface between social protection, food and nutrition security, and humanitarian assistance. Her 20-year experience crosses practice and research in both humanitarian and development settings. She supported the OPM research on Shock-Responsive Social Protection and the EU Guidance Package on Social Protection across the Humanitarian-Development Nexus. Cecile co-initiated the Online Community on Social Protection in Crisis Contexts with Celine Julia Felix. She co-hosts a weekly informal hangout on linking social protection and humanitarian assistance with Zehra Rizvi.
