Dr Rava supported the design and launch of the new pooled funding mechanism for acceleration of the SDGs – Joint SDG Fund - in 2018. He led Fund’s first global Call for Proposals and now manages the portfolio on Integrated Policy for Social Protection and Leaving No One Behind (USD 102 million investment into 35 joint programmes in 39 countries). Dr Rava has 20+ years of experience in Strategic Development focusing on Systemic Design, Strategic Foresight, Social Innovation, Policy and Institutional Change, Learning, Leadership and Stakeholder Dialogue. He has facilitated complex systems change led by, amongst other, the UN, the World Bank, and the EU, focusing on policy and institutional coherence and integration across “silos”. Dr Rava has BSC in Management, MA and PhD in Comparative politics, and Master of Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation. Dr Rava has produced 60+ strategic publications and designed and delivered over 100 training and educational programs. Most recently, Ned published a chapter on Systemic Policy Design in the “Handbook of Systems Sciences” published by Springer.
