Rosie Bright is WFP’s social protection specialist for the East Africa region, heading up the social protection and cash based programming team in the WFP regional bureau based in Nairobi. She has been working in the East Africa region for WFP for the past 10 years (at both country office and regional levels) and has previously worked on social protection policy for the UK Department for International Development (DFID). She is a political scientist by training with an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics.
