Marina joined IPC-IG in year 2020 to work as researcher. She undertakes analyses of social protection policies and programmes giving support to projects developed in partnership with other organisations, such as UNDP and UNICEF. Marina holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Ibmec-MG, and a double-degree M.Sc. in Public Policy and Human Development with a specialization in Social Protection Policy Design and Financing, from Maastricht University and the United Nations University-Merit.

She has worked as research assistant for the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) and for the International Labour Organization (ILO), and for over four years, she has worked as international consultant for various expert teams at the ILO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific and the ILO Decent Work Team for East and Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
