Clinic 2 - Gender and disability-sensitive social protection in times of COVID-19 and beyond
This thematic clinic will provide an opportunity to ask - and answer - questions about how to ensure that gender and disability are fully integrated into the response to COVID-19 and beyond; how the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of policies and programmes can be better adapted to meet the differential needs of women, men, girls and boys, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable or excluded groups, and; how the social protection response to COVID can be an opportunity to achieve transformative outcomes on gender and disability.
The "clinic" sessions are an opportunity for participants to ask practical and technical questions on a variety of topics that have been highly relevant to the social protection response to COVID. These will be answered 'live' or through a subsequent written discussion forum.
The sessions will be attended and moderated by designated "resource people" on the topic, but the answers can and should be provided by other colleagues as well: we are all experts and we can all learn from each other's experiences.
