Clinic 3 - (Digital) solutions for social protection responses to COVID-19: payments
This thematic clinic will provide an opportunity to ask - and answer - questions about the approaches adopted to safely pay new caseloads during the response to COVID-19, and lessons learned for the future.
The "Clinic" sessions are an opportunity for participants to ask practical and technical questions on various topics that have been highly relevant to COVID's social protection response. These will be answered "live" or through a subsequent written discussion forum.
The sessions will be attended and moderated by designated "resource people" in the field, but the answers can and should be provided by other colleagues as well: we are all experts and we can all learn from each other's experiences.
Designated resource people: William Derban, GSMA and SPACE expert Joscha Albert, GIZ Lena Gronbach, University of Capetown Rodolfo Beazley, Independent consultant and SPACE expert Silvia Baur-Yazbeck, CGAP Kathryn Glynn-Broderick, IPA John Bomquist, WB Alan Gelb, CGDEV Tina George, WB Ines Rodrigue Caillava, WB Moderators: Rodrigo Ortiz D’avila Assumpcao, ILO Veronika Wodsak, ILO
This clinic is hosted by the SPIAC-B Digital Social Protection Working Group alongside the G2PX initiative, and is co-organised by SPACE – Social Protection Approaches to COVID-19: Expert advice. SPACE is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and German Development Cooperation (GDC).
This session requires registration. To attend the session, you will need to register by clicking on the "Video Stream" button in one of the Clinic Sessions above, then follow the Zoom instructions.
