Pontso is a young enthusiastic and motivated Sociologist working for the Ministry of Social Development in Maseru, Lesotho where she designs policy framework and community development programs for the vulnerable groups such as Orphans and Vulnerable Children, People with Disability, Critically sick people and the elderly. She's voluntarily leading her own project on climate change and environmental conservation. She is a Co-Programming and Training Chair for Girls Leading Our World (GLOW) camp,
where she mentors over 200 girls and leads life-skills sessions/activities on decision making, career planning, HIV education, and self-esteem building during the camp. Pontso collaboratively runs an entrepreneurship on Ethnic Fashion and Design. She is an active member in many associations like YALI Alumni Association, YALI Network, Enviro-Friends, Lesotho Red Cross Society, Social Protection.org, International Sociological Association, Mablock-A-Moafrica, Selibeng Book Club, World Peace Initiative and She leads Africa. Pontso was selected as Africa’s Brightest Young Mind in 2017 by BYM Summit. Johannesburg, Sandton, South Africa.
